Shopping in IKEA is one of the most interesting activities you can do in Kuwait and shopping in IKEA is not only about furniture but you can also enjoy their amazing Food options.
IKEA has a restaurant and another section that can be considered as a small cafeteria.
In IKEA restaurant, full meals are served like pasta, meatballs, mashed potatoes, salads, steak and many more in addition to drinks and some desserts.
The restaurant is big and you can have a seat in it and take a rest while enjoying your meal.
As for the cafeteria, they serve fast food sandwiches like Shawarma and hotdog in addition to potato wedges, drinks, frozen yoghurt and some other desserts like Mhallabiya and ice cream.
Recently, we tried IKEAs Cafeteria for the first time since we always use to eat in the restaurant and we wanted to make a change.
We ordered Shawarma Sandwiches with potato wedges and we bought ice cream after lunch.
The Shawarma taste was so nice, its size is neither so big nor small and it’s not prepared in flat bread but in baguette bread. The potato wedges also taste great.
One Shawarma in Ikea is for 250 Fils and the potato wedges is for 350 Fils and as for the ice cream, you pay for it, then they give you a cone and a coin.
When you go to the ice cream machine, you insert the coin, choose your flavor and place the cone in the right place and the machine fills the ice cream automatically.
And as for ordering the food, you have to wait in line for your turn and everything is organized and the Cafeteria is clean and the workers there have their hair covered.
But in IKEAs cafeteria, you have to eat while standing whereby only high tables are available but without chairs but anyway, it’s not a big deal since you don’t need much time to eat sandwiches.
IKEA … enjoyable shopping experience and enjoyable food as well so don’t hesitate to give it a try!
