The Director of the Central Administration of Statistics Fouad Mulla Hussein announced in a press conference year 1973 that the over all population of Kuwait is 815000.
This number is so high compared to what it was in the fifties whereby the population in Kuwait was 190794 as was announced officially in the year 1957.
The quick increase was so noticeable between year 1957 and the year 1973 where by it was more than the triple and here is how it increased during this period:
Kuwait population year 1957: 190794
Kuwait population year 1961: 203874
Kuwait population year 1970: 738662
Kuwait population year 1973: 815000
