Cinescape FANAR launched in 1997 to become the first Cinescape Theater to open in the Salmiyah area and be built within a mall. The 4 screen cinema which is located on Salem Al Mubarak street has been one of the busiest locations for Cinescape. To tackle this, a 5th screen was opened in the year 2000 which took the seating capacity totals to 1192 seats.
